Business to business contacts to fulfill Malaysian needs

Kuala Lumpur - Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) through its department, Institute of Halal Research and Management (IHRAM) has engaging collaboration with Pakistan’s delegation in the matter of exporting Pakistan’s halal meat to Malaysia to fulfill Malaysian market needs.

Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation USIM, The Honorable Professor Dato’ Dr Mustafa Mohd Hanefah said that Malaysia welcoming industries leaders in halal meat from Pakistan to export their meat base products as Malaysian local meat also didn’t enough to fulfill the local needs.

He also mentioned about how Brazil, Australia and Japan nowadays successfully establish their own halal product and at the same time also managed to export it all over the world.

Professor Dato’ Dr Mustafa Mohd Hanefah speaking about it when celebrating the delegates from Pakistan in the ‘Dinner and Welcoming Ceremony – Study of Halal Export Certification and Establishment of Business to Business Contacts’ at Manhattan 1 Hall, Berjaya Times Square Hotel.

The dinner is attend by the Director of IHRAM, Dr Mohd Sukri Hassan and delegation from USAID Pakistan, delegation from IHRAM USIM, and also participants from Malaysia meat base industries leaders to create business to business contacts between them.

This dinner and welcoming ceremony is also intend to bring the participants from Pakistan’s meat production and meat industry in Malaysia, to enable how Pakistan’s meat successfully entered the Malaysia market together with the establishment of cooperative relationship between the participants in the halal industry especially in meat base.
